Marocaine Pure Organic Argan Oil

A few weeks ago I went to a shopping centre/mall and came across a little stand in the middle of the shops selling products that contains Argan oil. What caught my eye is the Pure Organic Argan Oil. I have heard so much about the pure argan oil on youtube such as the Josie Maran one. I heard it was good for problematic skin so I bought a bottle. The brand is called Marocaine and the bottle was $30 for 50 mL.

Label: “Argan oil has been used by Moroccan women for centuries because of its naturally hydrating qualities. Use this argan oil on your skin for wrinkles, scars, dry skin, psoriasis, eczema and pimples. Argan oil will also repair dry damaged hair and split ends. This is a certified organic product”

As some of you many know, Argan (Moroccan) oil comes from the Argan tree with the species name of Argania spinosa L. The oil is produced from the kernels. It has various medicinal properties and had become popular in skincare regimen.

The oil contains abundant of antioxidant, vitamin A, C and E as well as omega 6 and 9. Below is a leaflet I got given from Marocaine which contains more information about this oil including what you can use it for.

I’ve used the Argan oil straightaway that night and have been using it constantly even until now. I’m not sure how good the Joise Maran pure oil is but the Marocaine one is amazing. If you have been reading my blogs religiously, you would know that I’m suffering from break outs. Most of the products I used to reduce the problem has causes my skin to dry out. The Marocaine pure organic argan oil hydrates my skin and calmed the pimples. It also brightens my face, leaving a nice healthy glow. Dull skins are generally due to de-hydration by the way so you should dry plenty of water and use hydrating products.
I use about 2-3 small drops and gently pat it on my face. It feels greasy at the start but about 5 minutes later it becomes matte. I was daring enough that tried putting the oil on my face before I do my make-up. Surprisingly, my face stayed nice and oil-free throughout the whole day without any touch up. I did however, used a mattifying pressed powder to set my make-up so it may play a role.

I let one of my friend tried the oil and now she’s in love with it. Her skin becomes extremely dry in the winter. Her moisturiser doesn’t help and when she wears make-up, you can see dry patches. Her elbows also become dried during the season. After she tried the Marocaine pure organic argan oil, her dry skin problems diminished. You can use the oil on your hair as a leave in treatment as well.

I went on their website to order one for my friend but it cost $44.95 instead of $30. I then emailed Marocaine to ask them the price difference as well as how much I enjoyed using their argan oil and would like to share it with you guys.  They were very generous and offered me a voucher code to share with you guys. Instead of paying $44.95 you can also get it for $30 by using the codeQ2013”. This code is activated today (16th of July) and will last until the 16th of August.

I think it’s great value for money. Remember, it’s pure organic argan oil so what you are paying is relatively inexpensive. Also, you only need a few drops so it will last you a while. If you are thinking of using argan oil, I recommend the Marocaine pure organic argan oil. They have other products as well so check them out:

Have you use argan oil for your skin before or even for hair? What do you think of it?

Disclaimer:

I’m not affiliate with Marocain. I bought the product with my own money and had seen results. Just wanted to share with you my opinion on this product and how it helped reduce my problematic skin. Marocaine was kind enough to offer my readers a voucher code to get it at a lower price.
